Aceptación en el Deporte (Acceptance in Sports)

Llegar al Nou Camp y al Santiago Bernabeu después de un tiempo sin haber tenido el honor y placer de visitarlos es algo increíble. Estas expresiones de gigantes magnitudes te hacen ver la importancia, relevancia y poder de influencia que tiene la UNIDAD en la DIVERSIDAD. Personas de diferentes clases sociales, formas de vida, países, culturas, educación etc…  que se unen para crear algo que conecte con sus corazones y almas para el resto de sus vidas.

Getting to Camp Nou and the Santiago Bernabeu after a while without having had the honor and pleasure of visiting them for a while is incredible. These expressions of giant magnitudes make you see the importance, relevance and power of influence that unity in diversity has. People from different social classes, ways of life, countries, cultures, educations, etc ...  come together to create something that connects with their hearts and souls for the rest of their lives. 

Barça y Madrid del mismo modo que los políticos en España están sumidos en una continua guerra institucional que para nada refleja la forma en la que la naturaleza trabaja con el fin de evolucionar la vida hacia la experiencia de más y más felicidad. Me gustaría abogar como representante de Brahmansports, por la ACEPTACIÓN como una de las formas más poderosas de AMAR. Tanto aceptar lo que la vida te da como una oportunidad, a pesar de que a veces no sea lo que nosotros esperamos, como aceptar las decisiones de los demás, la cultura de los demás, forma de entender la vida, forma de amar, la educación, el Deporte, sus colores, equipo favorito y demás. 

Barça and Madrid, just as politicians in Spain do are mired in an ongoing institutional war that , at all reflects the way in which nature works to evolve life towards experiencing more and more happiness. I would like to advocate in Brahmansports behalf, for ACCEPTANCE, as one of the most powerful ways of LOVE. Both, either to accept what life gives you an opportunity, even though sometimes it is not what we expect, or to accept the decisions of the other, their cultures, way of understanding life, how to love, the education, sports, colors, or a simple fact of cheering for other team.

                                                   
De pie, delante del Nou Camp me vino la necesidad de vincular mi corazón a algo en lo que crea de verdad, por lo que fuera capaz de dar mi vida como hace Mel Gibson en Braveheart. 

Standing in front of the Camp Nou, it came to me the need of linking my heart to something that I truly believe on, something for what I would be able to give my life as does Mel Gibson in Braveheart, something as Brahmansports.

La Aceptación nos permitiría dejar de mirar hacia fuera de nosotros mismos, y empezar a mirar que tenemos, podemos y debemos hacer para mejorarnos a nosotros mismos, ya que es ahí donde reside nuestro verdadero poder. Rubén y el Curso de Profesor de MT

Con que mejor empezar el blog de brahmansports compartiendo con vosotros mi deseo de atender al próximo curso de Profesor de Meditación Transcendental en Meru, Holanda éste próximo 9 de Abril.

Antes de las vacacinoes de navidad, empecé a sentir algo dentro de mi. Sabía que algo se estaba gestando en mi vida que me iba a coger desprevenido. Durante ese tiempo Laura junto con Cristina Ballesteros, profesora de MT de Almería, maravillosa persona que cambió nuestras vidas sólo con su presencia, organizó la primera charla introductoria a la MT en Yecla, ciudad natal de Laura, y donde nosotros hemos estado durante éste año y medio después de volver de la universidad Maharishi en USA.

Unos días después de Navidad, alrededor del 15 de Enero, Laura y yo acogimos otra vez a cristina par que enseñara a los padres de Laura y al Primer entrenador de Fútbol Profesional Meditador. Durante esos días de pujas, yoga y profundas meditaciones algo sucedió dentro de mí. En una meditación, un sentimiento de amor mezclado con deseo emergió fuertemente. Al principio no pude reconocer que era, pero después de unos segundos, un fuerte pero poderoso pensamiento apareció: Rubén DEBES hacer el Curso de Profesor de Meditación Transcendental.

Inmediatamente después de esa mediatación fuí al ordenador y empecé a buscar por el siguiente curso, el cual se celebrará en Meru, Holanda, en el mismo lugar que Cristina lo realizó. Esa era una semana de partido para mí, y después de un par de días en que ocurrió, me tuve que desplazar a Barcelona. Aunque mi cuerpo estaba allí mi cabeza y corazón estaban completamente en Holanda, simplemente estaba buscando una señal que confirmara la dirección de mi camino completamente.La confirmación llegó, y ya sabeis que pasa en ese tipo de situaciones, sabes que debes hacer algo, y lo haces. Debido a ello, a la semana dejé mi carrera deprotiva profesional una vez más después de un año y medio inolvidable de éxitos en el Yeclano Deportivo me preparaba a afrontar otra increíble aventura.

Empezé a pensar...vale... como voy a decirle a Laura que me voy otra vez 5 meses durante los cuales no vamos a recibir ningún sueldo de mi parte, y que aunque sabía que parecía una locura, lo tengo que hacer. Hablé con ella la última noche que Cristina estubo con nosotros en casa, al principio fue un poco chocante, porque después de un tiempo parecía que nuestras vidas se estaban asentando después de regresar de MUM. Pero al día siguiente, como siempre, Laura demostró un apoyo incondicional, como ella siempre hace hacia mí y mis decisiones, porque ella sabe que todo lo que hago lo hago por ella, por mi actual familia por mi futura familia y por mi familia mundial. Si de verdad deseamos, como es el caso, crear una familia que tenga acceso a todas sus posibilidades en la vida, ello requiere de nosotros confianza en lo que creemos: el poder del conocimiento que proviene de nuestro interior gracias al contacto con nuestro Ser.

Maharishi nos ofreció a todos el conocimiento y las técnicas necesarias para evolucionar como individuos hacia los niveles más altos de Felicidad, Realización y Dicha en nuestras vidas, este paso una vez más provará nuestro compromiso con nosotros mismos y con todo lo que a El se refiere.

El Deporte y la Vida (Life & Sports)

Aún muchos de nosotros, Deportistas, no somos concientes del Poder que tenemos, de lo privilegiados que somos por como somos y quien somos. Muchos habitantes de ésta tierra, animales, objetos inanimados, etc... nunca tendrán la capacidad de hacer cambiar el Mundo, de CREAR algo que merezca la pena con sus vidas y que con ello contribuyan a la evolución de ésta gran masa de tierra y agua donde vivimos.

Many of us, people related with Sports, are not aware of the POWER and privilege we have being who we are. Animals, inanimated objects, etc... never will have the capability to make the world better, they will never CREATE to contribute the evolution of this massive pice of earth and water where we live.
                                   
                                           

Del mismo modo, millones de Deportistas van por su carrera deportiva creyendo que no son lo suficientemente talentosos o que no son responsables del Deporte como un completo; Futbolistas creen que no tienen nada que ver con ciclistas, nadadores con atletas, jugadores de polo con saltadores de trampolín, jugadores de baloncesto con luchadores de judo, etc... Desarrollamos nuestras carreras Deportivas única y exclusivamente pensando en nosotros y en nuestro Deporte. Si, vemos la Olimpiada, Mundiales, Europeos y de más, pero nuestra implicación no va más allá de eso con los demás Deportes que no practicamos.

Likewise, millions of Sportman/women go through their Sports careers believing that they are not capable, talented or even responsible of Sports as a whole; Fútbol players think they do not have anything to do with Cyclers, Swimmers with Athletes, Polo players with Jumpers, Basketball players with Judoka's. We go through our careers thinking uniquely about ourselves and our Sport. Yes, we watch the Olimpic Games, World Cups, European Cups and so forth, but our implication does not go beyond that in terms of the Sports that we do not practice.

      

El Deporte como tal, en su esencia, fue creado por la vida para que éste fuera participe de la mayor manera posible en la evolución de las sociedades y la Humanidad como un completo. En su adaptación a la vida del individuo, fue creada como herramienta de evolución hacia altos niveles de Felicidad, Realización y Exito en la vida, llegando a ser hoy por hoy una primera potencia de influencia mínimo equivalente o incluso más que otras áreas como la Política, Economía, Cultura, Educación, etc...

Live created Sports essentially to participate as best as It could in the process of evolution of our societies and humankind as a whole. Sports, In its adaptation to individual's lives, was created as a tool for evolution of the person towards higher levels of Happiness, Realization and Success in life. Nowadays, Sports is one of the most powerful areas of our society with a huge power for influencing our lives, at least at the level if not more than Politics, Economics, Culture, Education, etc...

Hoy por hoy, el Deporte es la única área de la sociedad que al contrario de las demás no se ha visto afectado por la situación global, es más sigue creciendo y creciendo sin parar. Eso, en mi opinión hace que Deportistas como yo, que llevan años en el mundo del Deporte y los jóvenes Deportistas que vienen por detrás tengan la posibilidad y en la responsabilidad de utilizar el Deporte como herramienta de desarrollo social, para a través de el,  ayudar y mejorar el entorno de nuestras sociedades y nuestras vidas, y contribuir de la mayor manera posible durante ésta maravillosa aventura que es la vida.

Nowadays, Sports is the only area of society that is growing instead of going through a period of crisis. This fact makes in my opinion that Sportsman/women like me that have spent many years in Sports together with the youth that come after us, responsible of using Sports for what it really is, a tool for individual and social evolution. Helping to improve our lives, and to contribute as much as it can with this marvelous adventure that is life.

Para ello, los DEPORTISTAS, tenemos que ser Conscientes del poder que tenemos, Comprometernos a usarlo con integridad, poniendo la Intención y dirigiendo nuestra Atención hacia la creación de UNIDAD dentro de la gran diversidad de Deportistas y Deportes que existen en éste momento. Se trata de Decidir hacernos responsables y ACTUAR como Deportistas y como colectivo social, no sólo del desarrollo del Deporte como actividad sino como área social con un poder e influencia infinito en la evolución de la sociedad, la vida de las personas y la Humanidad.

For that reason, Sport people, have to be aware of the power we have, commit to use it with integrity, putting our intention and directing our attention towards creating UNITY in this huge diversity that Sports is at this moment. We have to DECIDE to be responsible and to ACT as a social collective, not only to make Sports evolve, but as a social area with an immense power and influence in the process of evolution of people's lives and Humankind.

Rubén´s Quest to TTC

What could be better than oppening the brahmansports blog by sharing with you my desire of attending TTC in Meru this following April 9th?

Before Christmas, It started a feeling withing me. I knew that something was rising in my life that I would not expect at all. During that time, Laura and I along with Cristina Ballesteros, a TM teacher from Almería (Spain), a wonderful lady that changed our lives only by her presence, organized the first TM introductory lecture in Yecla, Laura's native town, and where we have spent the last year and a half after coming back from MUM.

Christmas passed by and around January 15th Laura and I host Christina again to actually teach Laura's parents and the First Professional Soccer Coach that have learnt TM. During those days of pujas, yoga and deep meditations something changed within me. During a meditation, a strong feeling of love mixed with a desire risen powerfully. In the beginning I could not recognize what it was, but after a few seconds, a strong and powerful thought appeared: Rubén, you MUST do the TTC.

Immediately after meditation I went to the computer and started looking for the next TTC, and casually it is in Meru, Holland, the same place where Cristina did it. That was a soccer game week, so a couple of days after happening, I had to travel for a game to Barcelona. But my heart and mind were completely shaken by the TTC that they were looking for a sign at the Relative to be able to ensure the fact that what they were feeling and knowing was actually and without doubt the next step in my life. The confirmation arrived, and you know what happen when something like that occurs. You know what you have to do, and then you do it. So I did. I quit my Soccer career once again after a great period of enjoyment in Yeclano Deportivo this year and a half of professional Sport.

I started then to think, ok... how am I going to tell Laura that I am leaving again for 5 months, that we are not going to receive an income while I am out from my behalf, and that I knew it was once again something crazy, but that I must do. I spoke with her the last night that Cristina was with us, It was a shock for her in the beginning, because our lives had finally started to seem more grounded a year after coming from MUM. But from the following they on, Laura has showed as she always do, a strong support towards me and my decisions, because she knows that everything I do, I do it for her, my current family and my future family. If we want to create a family with access to everything they want, all possibilities in their lives, that requires from us to trust in what we believe: the power of the knowledge that comes from within. 


Maharishi provided us with all knowledge and techniques necessary for evolving as an individuals and humankind towards the higher levels of happiness, realization and fulfillment in life, and this once again will be a prove of our commitment with ourSelves and everything around Him.
